Alexis Blatt started her career working with animals while in high school. She gained hands on experience with wildlife rehabilitation at Red Creek Wildlife Center. After completing high school, Alexis went on to receive her bachelorette degree in Wildlife/Fisheries from Penn State University.
In 2019, Alexis officially started her career in the veterinary field as a technician assistant and has been in the field for the past 3 years. Alexis lives at home with her rescued animals which range from pocket pets, reptiles, dogs and a pony. Alexis is also teaching her love for all creatures to her children.
Annemarie has been in the veterinary field for over 22 years. Originally from Philadelphia, she was a police dispatcher and completed a veterinary assistant program during that time. While working the overnight shift in the police department, she also worked at the Philadelphia zoo during the day. After moving to Berks country, she started working as a veterinary technician and has continued to work in the field since.
She loves all animals and has volunteered in spay/neuter clinics and trap/neuter/release programs. She has also volunteered at a wildlife rehab. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her pets, listening to music and watching NASCAR.
Kaley Johnson has been grooming since February of 2022, she has grown to love many different animals of all sizes. She is a certified groomer through Paragon School of Pet Grooming, and is also Fear Free Certified. She strives to help pets build their confidence with the grooming process, and make it as stress-free and relaxing for them as possible.
Kaley has rescued many pets of her own, she has two dogs, two horses, and a guinea pig, and will continue to make a difference in one pet’s life at a time!
Kristina has always had an absolute respect and adoration for all animals since she was a child. Into adolescence she rode English hunter/jumpers and competed for many years. She was naturally drawn to animal nursing care as she became an adult.
She earned her associate degree in veterinary technology in January of 1999. Then she completed an internship at UCDM Vet med teaching hospital, followed by becoming a licensed veterinarian technician in the state of CA, in March of 1999.
Kris worked primarily in small animal practices with the first 10 years in Lafayette, CA. Through the years she was lucky enough to have worked for many different veterinary specialists such as dermatologists, orthopedists, radiologists, and dentists. They inspired her to follow her passion and she completed thousands of hours of continuing education specializing in Surgery/Anesthesia & Dentistry. She strives to improve the quality in care for people and pets in her community. Along the way she provided pet sitting services, basic grooming and training for 22 years. In April of 2019, Kris moved to Auburn, and continues to have the passion to provide the best nursing care possible.
